As Alabama’s association for school superintendents and their system leaders, we welcome the opportunity to provide information and assistance to our members, as well as to others who may have an interest in Alabama’s public schools.
The mission of SSA is to provide professional development for school superintendents and their leadership team to strengthen their effectiveness and to serve as chief advocate for Alabama's school children. We are dedicated to the success of the children we serve and effective leadership is essential. Through SSA superintendents and school system leaders are helping policymakers make better funding and policy decisions so we can serve every child with an adequate education in this decade.
